This is a MDF based product with a white oak veneered architrave which is supplied unfinished.
A mahogany oil based stain can be used to achieve a mahogany finish as shown. Available in 3" (69mm) or 4" (94mm) width.
MDF is a great choice for skirting and architraves because unlike Pine, there’s no knots or imperfections and MDF requires less time to prepare.
This is because all it needs is sanding down for smoothness and then primed ready for the final paint finish.
